Volunteers | Belleville Canada Day

VOLUNTEER for Belleville's Canada Day 2017 celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday!

We are asking YOU to help our volunteer steering committee make Belleville's Canada Day 2017 the 'Best One Yet'!

We are looking for energetic volunteers of all ages to help make our annual event another success! It’s a great way to build your volunteer experience, get involved in your community, meet new people, and show your Canadian pride on our nation's birthday - this year, our 150th! It’s also an opportunity for secondary school students to secure some or all of their required volunteer hours!

Over 100 volunteering opportunities are available in a variety of positions for both the young and young at heart. We are inviting adults, seniors and students, to come and help us out for one or more shifts starting with Event Set-Up on Thu. June 29 and ending with Tear-Down on July 2 ...and everything in between.

This year we have 3 days of fun and entertainment planned starting with our 'Movie Under the Stars' - The Lego Batman Movie - on the evening of Thu. June 29, Canadian Juno Award-winning rockers Trooper performing on Friday night, through to the final fireworks extravaganza on Sat. July 1st!

It is the policy of this organization to provide equal opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual preference, age, or disability. All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver form upon registration at the park and those under 18 years old will require a parent or guardian's signature.
